NSW schools offer special religious education and special education in ethics. Approved providers deliver these, where available.
Write to the school if you wish to withdraw your child from special religious education, sometimes known as scripture. Special education in ethics is an option for your primary-age child if you withdraw them from special religious education. For more information, visit Religion and ethics.
Braddock Public School offers Special Religious Education (known as 'Scripture') to children from Kindergarten to Year 6. Parents have the opportunity for their children to attend an SRE class taught by fully accredited SRE teachers who come for 30 minutes each week across the term. The classes offered are limited only by the availability of accredited teachers.
In 2020, the SRE classes offered will be:
Roman Catholic Scripture taught as a combined Years 3-6 class and a combined Kindergarten to Year 2 class.
Protestant Scripture will be taught in a combined Years 3-6 class and a combined Kindergarten to Year 2 class. More information can be found at https://whysre.com.au/
