Athletics Carnival

Braddock Public School will be holding the Years 2 to 6 Athletics Carnival on Friday 29 June 2018 at Parker Street Sports Ovals.

All students in Years 2 to 6 will be expected to attend the event. All parents are encouraged to come and support their children or assist on the day.

There is no cost for this event as the school sports committee has allocated funds for bus travel to and from the event. Buses will leave school at approximately 9:15am and return at approximately 2:15pm. Students are asked to go straight to their class lines at 9am on the day, as any late arrivals may result in students missing the bus transport.

This permission note and the attached medical form are to be completed and returned to the school no later than Friday 15 June 2018 so that teachers can finalise the organisation of the event. Due to health and safety requirements, any students without returned notes on or prior to this date will be unable to attend the event.

If you are a parent or carer attending the event and wish to assist in the running of any of the events on the day, please tick the box below and you will be contacted by a member of the sports committee. Minimal travel availability may be available for parents and carers wishing to assist on the day. If you wish to sign your child out on the day, you need to present to your child's classroom teacher who will have the appropriate sign out sheet.

There are canteen facilities available at the venue, however, we recommend that you ensure your child has plenty to eat and drink, is dressed appropriately for the day, and is sun safe by bringing a hat and sunscreen. Students may choose to wear house colours or full school uniform on the day.
